The Sound of Rain - The Sound of Faith

May 31, 2026    Apostle Monique Jackson

In her message, “The Sound of Rain — The Sound of Faith,” Apostle Monique Jackson drew from 1 Kings 18:41–46 to teach on Elijah, the drought in Israel, and the kind of faith that hears God before it sees evidence.

Through the story of Elijah declaring the end of a three-and-a-half-year drought, Apostle Monique reminded us that drought is not only a natural condition, but it can also represent seasons when life feels dry, provision seems delayed, and God appears silent. Yet even in the silence, God is still working, still speaking, and still calling His people to trust Him.

Elijah’s faith did not depend on what was visible. He heard the sound of abundance before the cloud appeared. He prayed, watched, and sent his servant to look again and again until the promise began to manifest. Apostle Monique emphasized that true faith keeps looking, keeps believing, and keeps responding to God’s Word even when circumstances seem unchanged.

She also lifted the Hebrew concept of zakar, meaning to remember in a way that leads to action. To remember that God is not passive. It means to move in agreement with what He has spoken. It means standing on His promises, obeying His instruction, and believing that what He declared will come to pass.

This message was a powerful reminder that faith can hear rain in a dry season. It can see possibility in barrenness. It can trust God when there is no sign but His Word.

**The sound of rain is not just the evidence of what is coming; it is the sound of faith rising before the breakthrough appears.
