The Horizons of Hope Part 2
In this pastoral message, Pastor Patrick explores how Christian hope endures when the past no longer comforts us, God’s present work cannot be recognized, and the future cannot be imagined.
Through the Three Horizons of Hope, we learn to remember God’s faithfulness in the past, remain anchored in the Spirit’s hidden presence, and reach toward God’s promises without controlling the route ahead. Darkness does not always mean that God has withdrawn. Sometimes faith is learning to trust what it cannot presently see or feel.
The message does not romanticize suffering or dismiss the need for pastoral, medical, or professional care. It offers assurance that no darkness can reverse Christ’s finished work, separate us from His love, or prevent the Spirit from forming hope within us.
The horizons have not disappeared. Night has simply changed our ability to see them.
