Hope Under An Uncertain Sky

In Hope Under an Uncertain Sky and drawing from Ecclesiastes 11:1–6, Pastor Patrick teaches that biblical hope does not wait for perfect conditions before acting. Like the farmer who must sow despite uncertain winds and clouds, believers are called to see their circumstances honestly without allowing fear, overthinking, or the demand for certainty to produce paralysis.

Through the Fourfold Architecture of Active Hope—Perception, Perspective, Participation, and Providence—this message challenges us to recognize what is happening, see beyond present conditions, take the next faithful step, and entrust the hidden work to God.

We are responsible for stewarding the seed. God remains sovereign over what grows. In time, the sheaves will testify that the tears of sowing did not have the final word.

Hope sees the conditions, trusts the God above them, and keeps sowing.
