The Renewal Center is a place where hospitality is always moving and living, a place where hospitality is in action. No one is perfect, but no one, thankfully, is expecting perfection. We only want to walk beside each other in grace, and support each other as we are able along life’s journey.
I love the words of Carmelite nun Teresa of Avila:
Christ has no body but yours,
No hands, no feet on earth but yours,
Yours are the eyes with which he looks
Compassion on this world
I am grateful for the reminder and the reality that we are made in God's image and likeness; we can all be image bearers of hospitality in a world that so desperately needs it.
