EXPECTATIONS ROOTED IN CHRIST
What are your expectations as we enter a new month, thinking of endless opportunities and hope? Excited about what lies ahead.
Psalm 62:5(KJV) My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
It all starts with our thoughts, our perceptions, and how we see things. According to the dictionary, expectation refers to the belief that good things are going to happen in the future. Perhaps a shift in thinking will change our perception, helping us to see things clearly from here on out.
Philippians 4:8(AMP) Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart].
As your mindset shifts, your thoughts shift, your words shift, your perception shifts so that you can embrace and expect the new things, the good things that will bring hope, light, and endless opportunities to your life.
Once you enter this place of new expectations, God will grant you clarity and a new movement will emerge in your life. You will see a change in your perception and the power of God will become more prominent in your life. There are many ways in which God will reveal his glory. Your walk will be abundant and filled with clarity of expectation. Those who seek shall find, those who ask shall receive, and those who expect shall witness.
The God of our expectation inspires, rewards, and supplies overflowing expectations in our hearts and lives. It is now a good time to put trust in God.
