New Wineskins

New Wineskins are Brand New for today, Beloveds! It has been pouring and stirring within our spirit for such a long time.  It’s for such a time as this, Esther 4.

Have you ever walked into a previously visited place with your circle of friends and realize you don’t fit in anymore?  Did you feel out of place? Did you even feel out of place within your circle of friends?  Gulp!

A lot has happened over the course of our lives.  But one Promise God says in Lamentations 3:22-23, "Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness." Why am I searching “back there” where God said leave it alone?  It is because it is familiar.

We ask for stretching and strengthening, but God says stop touching the old.  Isaiah 43:19 NIV, “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

We’re living in a time where new information comes out all the time.  But, the familiar calls out to us.  The new is not familiar.  We cannot control the new either.  It doesn’t fit like the old wine skins.  We’ve set up our highways and valleys there, as well as our people.  Going into the new then becomes a fight or struggle within us.
 
Have you overstayed on a job, assignment, relationship and felt gutted by the end of it?  All the energy was spent out of you.  When the new came, you couldn’t even give it your all! It fizzled out as well. You were left confused and wondering do you go back to what ensnared you easily!  Did you miss God somehow?

God’s revealing to you that those places you were in, no longer fit or serve the purposes they once did! Read that again! Some or many of the old people around you won’t fit either.  You’re all moving along to different assignments.

Has God downloaded or transmitted new plans you’re afraid to bring forward?  You’re being shaped anew in your inward parts.  Your mind is being given new perspectives.  This Healing is Necessary!  Your mental mindsets must become new!  They won’t carry or worse, sabotage in your new environments.  Your community is being reformed.  Many have already transitioned to new places, positions and communities.  It might not be a move to a new geological location, but where it would serve you better with a whole new mental framework.
Only Jesus can create this new framework!  Don’t even try to build it yourself!  These are the new wineskins!

Sit quietly before The Lord! Allow Him to implode, even explode your plans for His plans. Sit in His Presence and Words (Scriptures and Rhema) for new steps and solutions to come.  Trust in The Lord With All Your Heart and Lean Not To Your Own Understanding!  Acknowledge Him In All Your Ways And He Will Direct Your Path, Proverbs 3:5-7.

Don’t swallow or push fears and doubts to the side but Surrender them to God fully! It’s okay if you haven’t before.  That could be your new wineskins too!

Pray to God and Ask Him for His Trusted Leadership for you.  Not who you trusted from way back because it was familiar, co-dependent, felt good, or soul-tied relationships.
Take a trip, a retreat, or some needed time away.  It doesn’t have to be a luxury resort or destination.  Sometimes, the new scenery changes will boost your creativity or bring needed Godly Wisdom, Clarity or Alignments.

Keep God’s messages playing around you.  Play and Pray His Scriptures around the clock.  It will reinforce His Words, not just the feel-good messages.  It’s time to grow out of those spaces too! He sent His Word and healed us, And delivered us from their destructions, Psalm 107:20 emphasis!

Thank You Lord for Breathing Your New Breaths of Life Through us, Creating and Fashioning Your new wineskins for us too!  Thank You for Pouring Your new wine into our new wineskins that will not burst!  We will hold what You are Doing as You Set Your Heavenly Guard and Spirit around it to Fulfill it to Your Specifications!  God is Shaking off the dust and every weight!  Every stone and boulder, we’re letting go of as He removes them.  God’s leaving no stones unturned.  We are His New Creations! The God of Creation is saying Unhand every weight, rock, boulder, pebble and dust.  Let His Will Be Done on Earth as it is In Heaven!  Even if you don’t understand or know fully what to do, (Insert your name-Darlene).
